Warren E. Agin is a senior consultant and Director of Professional Development with LexPredict, LLC, and of-counsel to Swiggart & Agin, LLC, in Boston, Massachusetts. With over twenty-five years of experience in both consumer and business bankruptcy, Mr. Agin has also served as a Chapter 7 panel trustee since 2005.

Mr. Agin founded and currently chairs the ABA Business Law Section’s Legal Analytics Committee; and is a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, American Bar Institute, and Behavioral Science and Policy Association. He also teaches legal analytics at Boston College Law School as an adjunct professor. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He previously chaired the ABA Business Law Section’s Technology Committee, the Editorial Board of Business Law Today, the Business Bankruptcy Committee’s E-commerce and Insolvency Subcommittee, and the Boston Bar Association’s Computer and Internet Law Committee.

Mr. Agin authored the books Bankruptcy and Secured Lending in Cyberspace, 3rd Ed. (West, 2007)(the first book to discuss the use of technology in consumer bankruptcy practice) and the Bankruptcy and Intellectual Property Deskbook (ABA, 2016), and has frequently lectured on the topics of bankruptcy and technology to groups such as the American Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and MCLE.
